Voidokoilia Beach is located approximately 37km from Foinikounta. It is a beach that considered as one of the beautiful beaches of the Mediterannean due to its special shape but also of her different colors. It is famous especially for its round shape, comparing it most of the times to the Greek letter Ω (omega). It is adjacent with the Gialova Lagoon, separated only by a series of sand hills. The beach and the surrounding area has been characterized as a place of special natural beauty and it is enlisted on the Natura 2000 network. In its south point the Cape Korifasio starts to expand, that you can find there the ruins of classic Pylos. The beach can be accessed through a dirt road from the village of Petrochori, as well as through a path from Divari Beach.
