At 32 km approximately and 30 minutes of driving from our hotel, along with another 15 minutes of walking, you will find the Kalamari Waterfall. It is an excellent choice for families with young children as it is relatively easily accessible. Through the settlement of Gialova, there is a dirt road that leads to the parking area. From there and through a narrow lush path you will find the big waterfall.
During summer season it is usually dry, having only small water flows that basically are dripping in the lake. The best season to visit it is during spring time when the river water is plentiful. Don’t forget your cameras.
